↑ Apparently, some Quaker communities continued to record dates in the "Old Style" in use before 1753, so it is not possible to tell reliably whether the 2nd month was February or April. For more information on Quaker dating after 1752, see QuakerDates.pdf. But there is no evidence that this has anything to do with this particular date.So the presumption has to be that unless there is explicit evidence to the contrary, that this case followed legal practices of the time and the 2nd month was Feb. in 1794.
