Mrs. Ferris on George and Hannah

Mrs. Ferris includes in the family of Daniel Brewter, "VI. George(2), no record of birth, but his death in 1646 is claimed [History of Roxbury, Fallas Genealogy, 236-7; "My Ancestors" (Paine), 102; Rand Genealogy, 10], but he is not mentioned in will of Daniel(1) (Brewer)."[3]

"A statement is made [Chandler Genealogy, 3,9; Booth and Allied Families, 157] that Hannah (considered a variant of Joanna) a claimed daughter in this family married about 1651-2 Thomas(2) Chandler (William(1)) and died at Andover Oct. 25 1717, ae 87-8. It seems doubtful that "Joanna" would be changed thus and more likely that the Hannah concerned was not attached to this family."[3]

Robert Charles Anderson on George and Hannah

Some secondary sources claim a son George who died in 1646, but there is no evidence for his existence. A daughter Hannah has also been proposed, but without proof. [McArthur-Barnes 142, and sources cited there].[2]
