    On the twenty ninth day of November one thousand eight hundred and thirty six were married by banns duly published and by the consent of their parents Carlton Vaughan, aged twenty one years of the Township of Stanbridge and District of Montreal, yeoman and Nancy Emily Haykes aged twenty years of the Seignoury of St. Armand and District of Montreal, spinster, by me James Booth.
    This marriage was solemnized between us: Carleton Vaughan & Nancy Emily Haykes. Witnesses: Charles Hawk and Powell Austin.
