[Note: it is not clear why the compilers added the question about Swanzey. The intentions were registered in Royalston on 12 Sep 1798 (last entry on this page) and the return on 13 Sep 1798 is also (top entry left page). Josiah Goddard, the Justice of the Peace, lived in Athol, so if anything the marriage might have occurred there, but no grounds for suggesting Swanzey are seen???]
