The Uxbridge VRs give the birth of the wife of Asahel, Susanna, as "21st day, 5th mo. 1751". No such birth is recorded in Uxbridge or Mendon. Susanna, d/o Abner and Elizabeth, b. Mendon 3 Dec 1749, and Susannah, d/o Abel and Orana, b. Uxbridge 15 Nov 1753 are the closest matches found. Source:Crane, Ellery B. Historic Homes and Institutions and Genealogical and Personal Memoirs of Worcester County, Massachusetts, p. 2:264, mentions Asahel's will and names the children as Jesse, Asahel and Uranah. If Uranah is a daughter, this might suggest that Susanna was the daughter of Abel and Orana.
