Family:Archibald Watson and Helen Prentiss (1)

Research is required to determine if Archibald Watson^S2, who died in North Dumfies, Wellington, Ontario on 2 Dec 1873 was a son of this Archibald Watson. He "perished" in the "burning of Arkill (sic)" according to his death registration. He was 56 which makes him a contemporary of the elder Archibald Watson's son, Robert.

   According to biographical information included on Archibald Waston's memorial page, his wife died in Scotland before he came to Canada in 1831.
   
   Catherine Watson Maddaugh's memorial page gives her mother's name as Helen Prentiss.
   
   I assume that Helen was Archibald's only wife, and thus the mother of all of Archibald's children.
