Prominent Families of the United States of America (312536)) show as twins: Jane and Grace, b. 1669. Neither the birth nor baptism records suggest Jane was a twin, and the only record of Grace appears to belong to Anthony's earlier marriage. The basis for this error is unknown, as the will of the father in 1684 forgives his daughter Grace a debt (implying she was an adult in 1684, hence born before 1669) and mentions her in a different clause than the younger children.

    Jacobus' arrangement of the Stoddard children in Hale-House is an agreement with the above analysis.
