ANTHONY² (Hatevil¹), b. England ca 1630, son of Hatvil and Ann (Ayers) Nutter, d. Dover, NH 19 Feb 1685-6 of small pox (Rev. John Pike's Diary, NHG Record, 3:79); m. ca 1662 SARAH LANGSTAFF, daughter of Henry Langstaff, still living 14 July 1712. Admitted as a freeman, 22 May 1662, Anthony Nutter was the first of the family to settle in Newington removing from Dover Neck to Welchman's [Welch's] Cove in Newington.
