The wedding of Miss Leila Richardson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. I. Richardson, 480 Pacific St. to Anselm Steinborg, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Steinborg, 932 Pacific St. took place in First Congregational Church at 8 o'clock Wednesday evening the presence of many friends and relatives. The Rev. H. E. Peabody performed the ceremony.

Miss Marie Richardson, a sister of the bride, was maid of honor, while Harry Alquist, a cousin of the bridegroom, was best man. The bridesmaids were the Misses Ann Hawes, Sylvia Delong, Hilda Steinborg of Chicago[,] and Mrs. James Whalen, while the ushers were Francis Richardson, Heber Pelky, Asher Ellis of Madison, and James Whalen.

The bride wore a gown of white crepe embroidered with iridescent beads and pearls, with a court train. She also wore a veil of tulle and carried a bouquet of white roses and lillies of the valley. She entered church on the arm of her father and followed the bridal party down the center aisle. Dr. Peabody, Mr. Steinborg and Mr. Alquist entered the church from the side and met the bridal party at the foot of the altar. The bride was given away by her father.

The maid of honor wore a gown of coral chiffon over silver cloth and a hat of coral satin to match and carried a bouquet of American beauty roses. Miss Hawes wore orchid chiffon, Miss DeLong turquoise blue chiffon, Miss Steinborg honey dew chiffon over pale yellow, and Mrs. Whalen golden rose tafetta. The bridesmaids wore hats of tulle to match their gowns and carried bouquets of tea roses.

A reception was held at the home of the bride's parents after the ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. Steinborg have gone on an extended auto trip and will return to be at home to their friends at 461 Pacific St. after Nov. 15.
