6 Apr 1765 (Quaker date) Samuel Strowd leaves will in Loudoun Co. VA probated there 13 May 1765 naming wife Ann, daughters Martha Pitts, Mary Potts, Phebe Beason, Ann and Susan Strowd. Only son listed was George Redmand alias Strowd, the son of his wife. The executors were Jonas Potts (his son-in-law), James Strowd and Samuel Potts with wits Thomas Hatfield, Ezekiel Pitts and William Dillon.
