Allen, Eva's husband, was from Sheldon, Iroquois Co., IL. Eva Mae Miller and her husband, Allen DeHart moved to Colorado in 1900 and Allen worked for the railroad for 55 years. He was agent for the Santa Fe Railroad in Littleton, Arapahoe Co., CO for many years. They moved to Cannon City, Freemont Co., CO before he retired in 1939. Eva was a member of the Emmanuel Methodist Church. They had one son.
