    On Wednesday morning a quiet but pretty wedding took place at the residence of Mr D. C. Bett, of Marton, in the presence of a number of friends, A. W. Humphrey, Esq., of Marton, and Miss Alice Jane Loveridge, eldest daughter of F. Loveridge, Esq., were united in the holy bond of matrimony. The Rev. D. Gordon officiated.
