    Absalom third and youngest son of Absalom and Martha Hall Forbes was born November 1778 in Upton Massachusetts and resided in Windsor Vermont and Jefferson New Hampshire and died in the latter town. He was the owner of two farms and was a man of influence He was married in Sutton to Prudence Burdon who was born March 24 1784 daughter of John and Lucy Libbey Burdon. Their children were Nancy, Joel White, Prudence, Charlotte, Emily, Betsey, Eliza, Marietta and Leland
