List of Cowan family members in Section 1 of Long Run Cemetery, North Huntingdon Township, Pennsylvania. According to Dana, some of the inscriptions are illegible.
Several of the records reflect inscriptions on Memorial Stones, and Revolutionary War Markers. The recordation on these stones is not contemporary with the burial, and may reflect what was believed by someone (perhaps DAR) at the time the memorial stone was erected.
In some cases an original stone is present for the same individual for whom the Memorial Stone was erected. These graves are presumed to be related in some way to [[Person:Mathias Cowan (1) and his wife Rachel Gray
