Possibility

DNA of a decendents of Balthazar TROUT Sr. of Colebrookdale Twp, Berks, PA proves he in fact descends from or is directly related to Line The TRAUT Brethren of Germantown, Philadelphia, PA. Often known by researchers as the "TRAUT Brethren," brothers Johann Heinrich TRAUT, Johann Balthazar TRAUT, and Jeremias TRAUT, were all originally from Düdelsheim, Himbach, and Frankenthal, Germany. Researchers have long suspected there might be a connection, and now through genetic genealogy, we have collectively proven a connection. Craig H Trout's working theory (conjecture) is that Jacob and Balthazar were sons of Hans Georg TRAUT of Germantown, 1695-1745 who's will only names 3 of his 8 children. We are now pursuing his probate file to see if the children were named during the final distribution of his estate in 1745. There are also strong indications that this Hans Georg TRAUT was the son of TRAUT Brethren brother Johann Heinrich TRAUT.
