Walker in Caswell County, NC [10 January 2022]

Hi, I'm trying to tie Group 22 Walkers into the Carolina tapestry. My husband is kit 4326. Here is what we believe is his ancestry:

Thomas Walker DAR Ancestor A119684 b. 1719 or 1709? d. 1793 Nottoway, VA married Betty Ellis in VA about 1736

Son John Walker 1755–1789 BIRTH ABT 1755 • Lunenburg, Virginia Married Rachel Parr, daughter of William Parr and Mary Bush DEATH 14 JUN 1789 • Caswell County, North Carolina DAR A119454

Son of John Walker, Benjamin Walker, born c. 1775, married Sarah/Sally Hightower 9 Dec 1800 Caswell County, NC (daughter of Epraphoditus Hightower) moved to Grainger County, TN between 1820 and 1823. Died 1857, Grainger Co, TN

Have you run across any other descendants of these Walkers?--Rangercwalker 16:54, 10 January 2022 (UTC)

Hello,

John Walker and Rachel Parr had a son named Thomas named in John's will. I believe this may be the same Thomas that moved with William Parr to Goose Creek, Sumner County, Tennessee and later died in Maury County TN. He married Elizabeth Cathey and had many children. However, I do not know of any YDNA results for his descendants so the connection isn't verified with DNA. Wikitree has a profile on him with links to original sources:

I can assist with making a profile page for Thomas on WeRelate if you like.
