export-BloodTree.ged appears to overlap a previously-imported GEDCOM [31 December 2008]

The pages from this GEDCOM have not yet been generated because they appear to match pages from a GEDCOM you have previously imported to WeRelate.

If you have already imported a GEDCOM containing people in this GEDCOM and you want to replace that tree with this GEDCOM, you need to delete that tree first so duplicates aren't created when you import this GEDCOM. Go to the Family Tree page, scroll down to the bottom of the page, and click on the "delete" link next to that tree. Please be aware that any pages in that tree that are being watched by others won't get deleted. Once that tree is deleted you can create a new tree and re-upload this GEDCOM into it. (We're planning to make re-uploading GEDCOM files much simpler later this Fall.)

If you don't think you have already imported a GEDCOM containing people in this GEDCOM, or if the two GEDCOM's don't overlap that much, leave a message for Dallan or send an email to dallan@WeRelate.org and we'll go ahead with the import.

Robert Drake & Elizabeth Prideaux [16 July 2009]

Hello!

I am attempting to do a bit of in-depth research about Robert Drake & his descendants.

Would you be able to help me by chance? I am trying to figure out just who his offspring were - and some of their descendants?

Specifically, I am trying to determine if there were any Drakes from this line that migrated/relocated from England to North America during the 1600's.

Two items: trying to locate info on a George Drake who was part of an exploration trip of North America at about 1595? He came from Topsham -- names of that area have changed at times.

Really looking for Drakes that migrated from England to North America during the 1600's (prior to 1660); residing in New England - particular interst in New Hampshire, New Jersey, Rhode Island, etc.

I can be reached via me email: danielduckydrake@gmail.com--Duckydrake 19:14, 16 July 2009 (EDT)

Can you help with merging your pages? [15 October 2009]

Hello,

I am a volunteer administrator here at WeRelate. As you know, we have a goal to merge all duplicate pages by the end of the year. You can contribute to this effort by de-duping your own duplicates. To merge your own duplicates, log in, then select "Show Duplicates" from the "My Relate" drop-down menu. We need you (or someone interested in your tree) to review this list or we will need to remove your tree in order to expedite the review process. If you plan to review this list or have any questions, please reply by October 19th.--Dallan 15:39, 15 October 2009 (EDT)
