I'll get back to you on McNary. Have found several possible errors that I want to check with my documentation. I had forgotten I even posted to this site so you can see how much I use it. One error that was obvious as I worked for months trying to resolve the problem. Sarah Crouch who married John McNary was actually Sarah Maxwell Crouch, daughter of James Maxwell and Sarah Davidson. She first married John Crouch in Jan 1834. He died in Dec 1834, leaving her with a baby daughter named Mary Ellen who was born in Oct 1834. I have this all documented with my first clue coming from the McNary Bible in my possession. Other documents support the data.--Buckeyekate 09:05, 30 October 2008 (EDT)

McNary Family [9 February 2011]

Elizabeth (Price) Hawkins [9 February 2011]

Person:Elizabeth Price (41) who married Ephraim Hawkins is my ancestor. Several generations of researchers have found nothing about her apart from what can be gleaned from the census-- even her maiden name is only a family tradition-- yet this page gives her parents, a birth date, a marriage date, and a death date! OK, Here's the deal. I was the lead person in restoring the "Price Pioneer Cemetery" near Rhodes (Marshall) IA. I decided to begin researching the Price family and created my database in Family Tree Maker for Windows. I checked the info others had submitted, decided that one of the submitters had the most logical and consistent info and so imported his GEDCOM. That person and info on the listing on Rootsweb is: Locke Family of Virginia Entries: 30304 Updated: 2010-11-25 05:31:10 UTC (Thu) Contact: Jim Lock eMail: statework@aol.com. I intended to work on confirming his work but have been working on my own family lines and have not gotten back to that project.
