House Family [14 February 2009]

Hi-

I saw your posting on the House family and am wondering how you are connected. I am descended from Allen House through Nelson William House. I have a copy of the genealogy Marianna House Malkowski put together several years ago and also a lot of other House genealogy, some from my mom's cousin, and some compiled on my own. I would be interested in sharing, if you are interested. I have not uploaded a gedcom to this site as I am new to it. I would like to hear back from you and find out your connection.

Walter Wright and Hannah Hubbard [20 August 2009]

Hi

I noticed that we're looking at the same family... Your Walter is the brother of my James Wright, born 22 Oct 1787 in North Castle Township, Westchester Co., NY. Walter and James are sons of William and Sarah (Lyon) Wright.

Your Henry George Frantz [23 May 2011]

Hi Noranni ! I just added a Henry Frantz b Feb 1880 to my FRANTZ line from the 1880 Fed Census for Brady Twp, Clearfield Co., PA. Wondered if you felt that your Henry George FRANTZ was identical with mine. Your Henry marries a KUHNLEY woman. My Henry is son of Harrison FRANTZ and Caroline SHIVELY. Harrison is son of George B. FRANTZ and Eliza Jane TAYLOR. Please give me your opinion, so I can merge the 2 Henrys. I have lots of Clearfield, McKean, Jefferson and Elk County relatives...THOMPSON, FRANTZ, SWEENEY, ROGERS, TAYLOR & lots of 'married intos' Regards....--Neal Gardner 16:17, 23 May 2011 (EDT)

Will merge Henrys. [23 May 2011]

Just read info for Henry and Essa's marriage. I will go ahead and merge my Henry and yours. No doubt they are one and the same. P.S. age in 1880 Census for Henry's father, Harrison is off by 10 years; should read 40 not 30.--Neal Gardner 16:27, 23 May 2011 (EDT)

Bates [10 June 2011]

I am wondering how you are connected to Donald Bates? I am the great grandchild of Edwin Bates. Anything you could help with would be appreciated ! Thank you so much, Melissa mwartella@hotmail.com--Mwartella 23:07, 6 June 2011 (EDT)

Hi, I was referring to Henry Frantz. I don't know the BATES line. My great grandmother was Minnie FRANTZ and Henry was a distant cousin. Regards....--Neal Gardner 15:29, 10 June 2011 (EDT)

the Shives Martin Family [18 December 2014]

My name is Catherine Evans. Theodore and Elizabeth are my grandparents. I have documented the Shives family back to Francis, who was born in Pennsylvania in 1729 and the Martin/Martens back to the 1600s in Maryland. If you have no objections, I would like to edit your Shives to add the past generations. The work would begin in 2015. If you have objections, please send a note to tennesseeweed@gmail.com Thank you.--SHIVES 17:47, 18 December 2014 (UTC)

Linnie Houser Henry Bangerth [8 February 2019]

Frances (nee Fannie Mae Mcbride 9/5/15 to Marion McBride (50) and Clara nee Coleman(18) in Hickman County KY) Grace Stillings (sister of Herman Stillings who later marries Frances in 1935). Grace was the daughter of William Stillings and Josephine Stillings(nee Michael's) of Louisville KY. The story is that Frances was in an orphanage circa 1925-29). Don't know why Grace was placed in the Bergerth home. Her mother and brother were still living in Louisville, and he would visit her on the 'farm' and met Frances.. She is my husband's mother, Stephen Stillings.--Cpstillings 19:22, 8 February 2019 (UTC)

family [3 June 2023]

Flora Winebrenner is my great great grandmother. I am the daughter of Barbara Ann Whiteman whose mother is Mitzie Beeman Whiteman Dawes daughter of Peggy Winebrenner. Mitzie adopted Barbara when she was born from Jane Winebrenner (Peggy's sister) Barbara also had a brother, Buddy, who was also born from Jane and Mitzie adopted him as well. I was wondering if you are related also and where I could find more about our family. Both Barbara and Mitzie are gone now. I saw a mention about a Reminiscing by Flora Winebrenner, is this a book or something that is published somewhere? I would love to find a copy.
