Welcome! [15 April 2012]

Hello, Nanaroo! Welcome to WeRelate. It looks like we're related; both of us descended from Kornelis Renzes Keegstra and Sjoertje Tietes Faber.

Thank you for adding Ruth Keegstra. I knew of her existence from the 1930 census, but did not have a date of death for her, so the Werelate system would not have allowed me to add her.

Something like forty-five years ago I had seen your Aunt Jean's name in my Sunday School songbook, so I asked my Dad (Rev. C. E. Keegstra) how she was related to us. He assured me that we were related, but couldn't tell me exactly how. With the help of several other WeRelate contributors, after forty-five years or so I was finally able to answer that question and document the answer on this site.
