Grays and Teaters [23 July 2013]

Hi Missrene

Saw your note to Parris concerning the Grey's. Was your Gray line in SW VA, or Kentucky? Q 14:45, 23 July 2013 (EDT)

My Gray Family is in Alabama/Georgia & includes the Duke Family of Alabama & North Carolina & Virginia. The tobacco Dukes that also started Duke University & the College of William & Mary. Thanks.--Missrene 15:13, 23 July 2013 (EDT)

Parris' line of Teaters flowed south from Old Augusta in northern Virginia, to Southwest Virginia about the time of the revolution, and then into Kentucky. Unless you're line passed through those same areas, doesn't seem likely that there would be a connection. Q 16:31, 23 July 2013 (EDT)
