Hi John nice to hear from you im 32 years old im exactly the same i actually lived in letterkenny as a child for a few years although i was born here in the uk the doherty family tree seems to be fairly interesting and i will try help out with any questions you might have about this side of your family tree.

Buddy, I was in letterkenny this last Sept. It had been 30 years since I was there. I was In the US Army stationed in W. Germany back in early eighties.Thats when I met my Grandma Mary Doherty married name Keys. Her Husband Grandpa Thomas Keys.My Mom was Kathleen Keys/Sweeney. She lived by St. Eun church , Sentry hill letterkenny. Wow things sure changed.If you don't mind can u email me at swendog73@gmail.com I have some files and pictures for u.
