Drury Puckett [11 February 2012]

Thanks for the refinements on Drury Pucketts article. Much appreciated. Q 19:41, 10 February 2012 (EST)

I've continued to work to improve the text of the article, particularly with regard to Drury's presence in Augusta County, and the identity of his wife. I note that you have added some additional information on one of their children in the table toward the end of the article. The Drury Puckett article was done fairly early on before the "Sidebar" displaying the names of family members was added. (That's been within the last year or so). The side bar has its own pluses and minuses but its a lot easier to use that to record the identities of children. We just haven't caught up with updating the older stuff. Some of the other tables that you see displayed in Drury's article also date from this period. Since then we've found other ways to present background information (usually in the form of Notes or Notebook articles that are cross linked to the person article. That way the information is preserved and available, but doesn't interfere with the display of the article. We'll probably be moving Drury's tables to Notebooks, etc. They'll still be accessible through the links, but it will give the written article a cleaner look. At least that's the game plan and intent. If you have more information about Drury and his family, placeing it here or in the talk page would be very helpful. We're especially interested in original source documentaiton underlying various facts (such as DOB's, etc.) A more complete reference to that Clerks Record of marriages would be very useful.
