Living people [22 February 2013]

Hi Nancy, I saw your message on the talk page for Living Willman. WeRelate does not allow pages for living people due to privacy issues. I've deleted that page and marked the pages for your siblings, their spouses, and children for deletion. If you have a sibling who is deceased, you can remove that deletion template and add information about their death date by clicking on the Edit link on their page. If you have any questions at all, you can leave me a message here or on my talk page. Thank you, --Jennifer (JBS66) 13:18, 22 February 2013 (EST)

I am new at this, so do I understand that the children of deceased parents aren't even listed? I realize they wouldn't have a page, but they aren't even listed?--Mammading 14:07, 22 February 2013 (EST)

I am new at this, so do I understand that the children of deceased parents aren't even listed? I realize they wouldn't have a page, but they aren't even listed?

Our oldest brother, Louis Charles Willman Jr. passed away Dec. 20, 2012 (and his wife, Margy (Gwynne) passed away 47 days later, so they can have pages. I will fill in the information later.

Thank you! Nancy Dingman--Mammading 14:14, 22 February 2013 (EST)

You are correct that Person and Family pages cannot be created for living people. A living person might be listed on a page when mentioned in a publicly available source such as within the text of an obituary or in a transcription of the 1940 census.
What will happen is that unless you or the creator of these pages adds death dates within about 14 days, the pages for Garaldine, Judy, Louis Charles, and Shirly, their spouses, and their children will be deleted. You can read a bit more about WR's living person policy here. When the pages for your siblings are deleted, no children will appear on the page for Family:Louie Willman and Lois Loshbaugh (1).
Since you are new here, I'll explain that WeRelate is a wiki. That means that anybody can edit and add information to pages. If you are interested, you are welcome to add additional information on the pages for your deceased relatives. Again, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
p.s. I just saw your most recent response. I'll go ahead and remove the deletion templates on the pages for Louis Charles and Margy. --Jennifer (JBS66) 14:28, 22 February 2013 (EST)
