[add comment] [edit] GEDCOM uploaded successfullySorry about the late notice, but we had a bug in the robot that informed users that their GEDCOMs are complete (yours was complete March 28th at about 7:00 PM), but I just fixed it. I just wanted to personally apologize and thank you for using WeRelate.org. You may view your pages by launching the family tree explorer and opening the family tree into which this GEDCOM was imported. -Nathan 21:31, 2 April 2007 (MDT) [add comment] [edit] Eldred familyHello, I`m very new to this site so may not be using it correctly. I came across an entry for William Eldred, whom I believe to be my 8th GGF. The entry sems to have your username by it and suggests that you created it. You are certainly watching it. Could we share info on this person and related familes? my e-mail is penny@bake-family.me.uk [add comment] [edit] Jonathan SheldonHello, I just noticed that you have Johnathan Sheldon (b. 1687)as the son of Isaac Sheldon and Mary Woodford (died 1684). However, Johnathan was the son of Isaac and Mehitable (Gunn), who married in 1686. I have added Mehitable and her son by Isaac, but have not removed your Johnathan. You may want to review that. Best wishes, gunnj [add comment] [edit] Thomas Delano m Rebecca or Mary Alden? [5 March 2008]There seems to have been some discussion and disagreement on which of the Alden daughters is Thomas' wife. I've been skimming stuff and it looks like Savage has it as Mary but more recent scholarship has it as Rebecca. I just ran into this yesterday, was wondering if you had spent time on the issue. Thanks! --Jrm03063 09:08, 5 March 2008 (EST) [add comment] [edit] (X) on Names [22 December 2008]We seem to be related on a number of fronts. I have noticed that a lot of you people have (X) in the title, is there any reason for this? and example wwould be Person:Elizabeth Gleason (3). According to Torrey, Sarah Tilden married George Sutton (also reflected in WeRelate), not John Sutton. John Sutton married Julian. I have sent a message to NPowell, who is also watching the same page, as well as the pages of the children of this marriage, indicating the following: Being new to WeRelate, I don't feel completely comfortable cleaning up these families. I believe that the children need to be merged (where not already done) and linked to the one family of George Sutton and Sarah Tilden, and then the family page for John Sutton and Sarah Tilden needs to be deleted. Once the family page is deleted, I'm not sure if the person pages for John Sutton and Sarah Tilden also need to be edited to remove the link to the family. Once this is cleaned up, I can add John Sutton's wife Julian. If I do not hear back within a week or two, I may try to clean up the pages myself - but I wanted to give you a heads-up of what I think needs doing. Lynn - Let me know if you would rather do the clean-up yourself (since it will involve merging children) if I don't hear back from NPowell.--DataAnalyst 09:42, 31 January 2010 (EST) I have finished merging the George Sutton/Sarah Tilden and John Sutton/Sarah Tilden families. I believe I left the George Sutton/Sarah Tilden family intact and as correct as it was before, and didn't leave any orphan pages. I also added John Sutton's correct wife. --DataAnalyst 17:06, 7 February 2010 (EST) [add comment] [edit] Elizabeth Hawkins [14 March 2010]I'm new to this so not sure I'm doing this right but I'll try. You created a record for Elizabeth Hawkins born about 1666 in Boston. I have an Elizabeth Hawkins in my family tree who married Benjamin Turner on 14 Apr 1692 in Scituate, MA. The Mayflower Society has records of the marriage and that Elizabet lived to somewhere in 1740-1744 (MFIP Brewster 29) and that she was from Boston. Not sure what I should do now. Can we assume they are same person? Ages work out right (would have been married at age ~28) and none of info conflicts (but none confirms either)--Sparrell 22:16, 13 March 2010 (EST) See Sparrell's talk page for a continuation of this topic. --DataAnalyst 12:38, 14 March 2010 (EDT) [add comment] [edit] Sain family of Early Fairfield County Ohio [14 November 2011]If you are interested I have lots of information on this Family--Cynthia80Johnson 02:44, 14 November 2011 (EST) [add comment] [edit] Samuel Nash [29 May 2012]Hello, I read with interest your following entry about the Sam Nash, Tom Simons and Gilbert Brooks. Thomas was Servant to Dr Samuel Fuller of Plymouth. The Old Court Record of Plymouth, April 1649, records a complaint against Samuel Nash of Duxbury, that ... Thomas was Servant to Dr Samuel Fuller of Plymouth. The Old Court Record of Plymouth, April 1649, records a complaint against Samuel Nash of Duxbury, that his land was not all fenced and his cattle had run loose. Thomas Simon of Scituate (age 49), Samuel's brother-in-law (having married Samuel's sister Elizabeth) testified that he helped Nash build a fence over two years ago, and that his son-in-law Gilbert Brooks assisted.
I have just gone through all 12 vols of the Shurtleff & Pulsifer 12 volumes of the Plymouth Colony Records and cannot find the entry you shared. I went through each volume and the indexes, but could not find any entry for April 1649. Could I trouble you to give me your source or a direct quote of this entry. Does it give the name of the person who made the complaint. Thank you very much for having taken the time to share this information, it is very useful. e-mail: goetz@fredonia.edu--PCR1649 14:16, 29 May 2012 (EDT) [add comment] [edit] Thomas Page b:1605-1677 [9 October 2013]Is my page line.
