Francis McCune/McCoun [12 May 2011]

Hello, I noticed your message regarding Francis McCune on his page. Do you have any records to prove that he is the same person as Francis McCoun? At first, I too assumed them to be the same person, but couldn't find any records to conclusively prove, so if you have any records/sources/documentation, it would be appreciated.

Thanks and best regards,

Taking all references from Chalkley and listing them chronologically, it gives a better picture of the man and the information available on him. Men speculated on land, so would not always buy land they intended to farm. There were two Francis, but the other was Francis and Margaret's son. He died without issue, and his part of his father's estate went to his brother George.--Leonard 13:46, 4 April 2011 (EDT)

Perhaps you can add an article page (or Project Page) laying out all of the records and attach it to both Francis McCune/McCown's with your research and findings. I've listed most of their Chalkley's records, maybe you have other records to support your theory? I've removed your message on Francis McCoun's person page that really should be placed on his talk page. Person pages are more for sources, records, etc.
