Herbert Scarborough [15 October 2012]

Hello Patrick Lodge: Yes--I am the originator for the pages on Herbert Scarborough. I really don't know if that would be my grandfather---by 1934 he was living in Scarborough, Ontario-with a family and I doubt that we would have gone back to England at that time. Hi Good to hear from you. I regret that I did not receive your earlier message but never mind. I am happy to scan the signature - it is actually at the front of the book rather than with a specific poem. The collection is a second impression of the first edition of Spender's 1933 collection, a powerful sequence of poems. I am not confident that I can scan onto this site but will have a try. If not my email address is greglodge68@hotmail.com and I can certainly attach a scan to an email if you send me an email to which you want it sent.
