Datumformaat [27 May 2011]

Hallo Jeep Ik zie, dat je verschillende aanvullingen gemaakt hebt. Het datumsformaat is DD Mmm JJJJ dus 17 Apr 1880, de maand in de Engelse afkorting volgens de gedcom-regel. Data met streepjes worden niet correct verwerkt. Klaas--Klaas (Ekjansen) 03:29, 27 May 2011 (EDT)

Alternate names & Hyves [28 May 2011]

Hallo Gea, I noticed that you created a couple of pages with titles like Person:Wybren/Wybrant Plantinga (1) and Person:Martje/Mantjen Huisman (1). Titles and primary name fields should have only one spelling - alternate spellings can be listed by clicking on the Add alternate name link on the Person page edit screen. These two pages will need to be renamed by clicking on Rename from the left menu. Let me know if you need any help with this.

OK, I've made the change in the given names. Sorry for the inconveniance!

Klaas allready sent me a mail with the link to the dutch hyves-page. I'm not much of a "hyver" , but I will take a look.

Not an inconvenience at all! I wasn't a "hyver" either (is that what people who use Hyves are called? :-) but it does look like a nice format to meet other Dutch WR users and learn from each others' questions/suggestions.

In addition to changing the names as you did, you will also need to rename the pages. Renaming the pages will change the title which is in black at the top of the page (and will change the URL as well). On each person page, you can click on Rename and edit the name in the To new title box. Don't add patronymic names to the titles though, those are added only in the edit screen. --Jennifer (JBS66) 11:10, 28 May 2011 (EDT)
