Joseph Haynie Parentage [8 April 2022]

Joseph Haynie's parents were not Daniel Haynie and Judith Fleet, so any ancestors back to the original John Haynie are incorrect. Joseph's parents were George Haynie and Sarah Humphries of Georgia. George Haynie's parents were Peter Haynie and Sinah Humphries. Peter's father was Isaac Haynie, son of John Haynie II. John Haynie II was the son of Captain John Haynie of Northumberland County, Virginia, born 1624. This information has been verified by Shirley Godsey and Christy Morris in their Daughters of the American Revolution application. Both George and Peter Haynie were Revolutionary War soldiers.--Rana1624 00:56, 8 April 2022 (UTC)
