Parentage of Matthew Patton [12 December 2011]

Thanks for the note on Matthew Patton. If you check Matthew Patton's person page, it will show the source of his information, citing him as the son of James Patton and Mary Borden. If you have evidence to the contrary, feel free to add it to his talk page, including the sources and/or discussion, and other researchers can weigh-in and compare sources/notes. The fact that Matthew acquired land on Craig's Creek from Col. James Patton in 1753, appears to support this claim. I've added those land records on Matthew's person page.
