Hi Vicki. I'm new to We Relate, too. I wasn't involved in the group researching Timothy and William Clark. I only recently began trying to trace their ancestry. Unless I miss my guess, Shirley is Shirley Mofield of Hampton, Virginia. She is descended from Perry Clark, Timothy's son, the same as I am. I've been trying to reach her, as she is in possession of a letter that proves the ancestry of Perry's wife, Emily June, although I think Shirley wasn't aware that it proved it. I've spoken with Shirley's granddaughter, but haven't been able to reach Shirley, who recently had a fall and is still recovering.

I think Timothy and William Clark were very closely related to Lucinda. I'm going to try to find documents from Montgomery County, as that seems to be the best place to start. I see that William Hazard lived in Charleston, Montgomery, NY in 1810, and that one of his neighbors on the same page of the census was Abraham Wickham, older brother of Isaac Wickham. Isaac Wickham and Timothy Clark moved to Collins together, arriving on March 16, 1816. They worked together to clear the land and build log cabins. This is further circumstantial evidence tying together the Hazards and the Clarks.
