Parents of James Daugherty [11 August 2017]

Hello, I noticed that you have removed James Daugherty (abt. 1740-1799) as a son of Charles Daugherty and Rebecca Cunningham. Can you please share the source of your information and the identity of his parents?

Daugherty Info [3 March 2021]

Hello Mike, I got your message on my user page regarding the Daugherty/Dougherty family that you're researching. I am not related to this family, but since they are in the Augusta County area, they are part of the project I've been working on "the Early Settlers of Augusta County, Virginia" on WeRelate.

If you'd like to correct some of the family relationships on this site, I have no problem with that. I'd just ask that the records listed on each person page be left as-is so other researchers can view them.

Hey Jim! Sorry, I haven't used this site much at all, and apparently, I responded to you on a public page. I guess that's fine. I haven't changed any of the information on any of the Daugherty pages. I only disconnected James and Anthony from Charles. When I have the time, I will add more information. The Daughertys are a mess, and it is likely that more of the connections on here are wrong.
