[add comment] [edit] Schneider12162007.ged appears to overlap a previously-imported GEDCOM [16 December 2007]The pages from this GEDCOM have not yet been generated because they appear to match pages from a GEDCOM you have previously imported to WeRelate. If you have already imported a GEDCOM containing people in this GEDCOM and you want to replace that tree with this GEDCOM, you need to delete that tree first so duplicates aren't created when you import this GEDCOM. Go to the Family Tree page, scroll down to the bottom of the page, and click on the "delete" link next to that tree. Please be aware that any pages in that tree that are being watched by others won't get deleted. Once that tree is deleted you can create a new tree and re-upload this GEDCOM into it. (We're planning to make re-uploading GEDCOM files much simpler later this Fall.) If you don't think you have already imported a GEDCOM containing people in this GEDCOM, or if the two GEDCOM's don't overlap that much, leave a message for Dallan or send an email to dallan@WeRelate.org and we'll go ahead with the import.

I have a Great Grandfather called Heinrich Lorenz who emigrated to London and married my great grand mother Ellen Hewitt in 1880 when he was 23 years old. He is listed as having been born in Kirschberg on several census returns. I believe these dates fit with Heinrich Lorenz mentioned in the Lorenz family tree on this website. (b.10 Mar 1857 Kirchberg, Hunsrück, Rheinland, Preußen, Germany) son of Heinrich Franz Joseph Lorenz b.6 Dec 1818 Kirchberg, Hunsrück, Rheinland, Preußen, Germany and Christina Knodel (Marriage 27 Feb 1847 Kirchberg, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany). The source is listed as Michael Frauenberger. Familienbuck der reformierten Pfarrei KIRCHBERG 1656-1875, P. 495 #2156. Could you explain what this is and how I can verify the content? Thank you for ypur help.--Mjg000 13:25, 27 October 2017 (UTC) This man translated the Church record in Kirchberg from the German script into modern day German. He made a book out of the translation. He published this book and we were able to purchase it. He is a well known researcher in Germany. He is known for his expertise in doing this work. There is a website of the place where we bought the book. http://www.wgff.de/. Hopefully it is still available or they might have other books that are an interest to you.
