Sarah Ann Barbero and Horace Jones [9 January 2011]

Hi Fluke,

    I have gathered quite a bit of info on Peter Jones' descendants because my mother and I believed that Conley Jones, my ancestor and Peter Jones, your ancestor, were brothers.  However, I am so far unable to prove this relationship.  This is a big brick wall for all of us, so if you ever find anything that might be proof, do let me know.
    I am also related to Sarah's mother and grandfather (John C. Fink).  I'll have to check the census records for them, but I would think the census taker was confused and wrote Harris instead of Horace.
