Help is available [24 August 2009]

Hello Coedmondson,

Sorry for the confusion. How can I help you please?

We volunteer administrators are here to help you if you have a question, or a confusion. We just need a message to know there is someone who needs or wants a little clarification.

It does take a little time to figure out this genealogy wiki. WeRelate is a little of everything. Talk pages are a type of message boards, People pages and Family pages are pages created from your or other WeRelate Users GEDCOM's who are studying the same people or ancestors. Source Pages are pages created for sources that you might use. We have two types of sources. We have community sources, which are sources we all use, or most Users use. An example is the census. Then we have Mysources which are sources that only you, or your immediate researchers use. An example of a MySource would be an obit. We also have help pages. We also have Discussion pages (similar to messages board too) to discuss in depth a community subject, such as what to do about names of locations, so we can reach a consensus that most agree to.

You should be receiving a notification email in your e-mail system when there is an new edition to a page you are "Watching" such as your WeRelate User Talk page. Also your MyRelate section is like your WeRelate User personal section.

Feedback is encouraged. The more WeRelate User's give feedback the more it helps WeRelate became a better addition to the genealogy world.

Hope this helps, Debbie Freeman, one of the volunteer administrators --DFree 15:40, 24 August 2009 (EDT)
