I am living in upstate SC and joined WeRelate at the urging of an other member after I saw he shared ancestors with my wife (an Edmondson descendant). I can add her branch of the family if I can figure this site out. I am especially interested in adding to her dozen or so kin who fought at King's Mountain.
My stone wall is John Sheppard who died in 1802 at Hardy Co., Va (now WV).
I also would like to confirm :
-The origin and wife of William Thorne who arrived in Mass. in 1630's.
-Whether Ann Howard (Norfolk,Va - Md)is dau. of Matthew b. 1609.
-Whether Henry Ivens (of NJ) was born in Jamestown in 1611.
