Emeigh clan [22 January 2012]

Dear Blue Diamond:

Thanks for contacting me with exciting news. It does seem likely that we have Jacob Emeigh in common. I am aware of the Emeigh community in PA-- many searches that I made for Emeighs led me to that part of PA. But I had no way to make a connection. Jacob's son Charles married my great grandaunt, so he is not a blood relative. Nevertheless, the interesting history of Charles and Margaret McBride Emeigh piques my interest in the Emeigh clan. After many years I located a living descendant of Margaret and Charles-- and the chap had no interest in learning anything about his ancestors. I visited Charles'grave in Minneapolis two summers ago. It has no headstone. His living children may never have learned of his death.

You are generous to offer to share your info. I would like more information on Charles (b 1805), his father, grandparents, and perhaps the vitals of his aunts & uncles.
