My Grandmother Winters was born Beulah Lucinda Lewis 5 Nov 1902 in Green Springs, Monroe, Mississippi. I have done a poor job of documenting this, so I will not be wiki-ing long or overmuch on this line, until I have done a little more research.
Her parents were Wiley Andrew Lewis and Lular Viola King. I have learned little or nothing (shame on me) about the Lewis family line. I have a little however, on the King's. Oddly enough, I have King's in my adoptive paternal line, also!
Wiley Andrew Lewis was born 23 May 1868, in Alabama. Lular Viola King was born 11 Oct 1876 in Alabama. They had six children. I have photos of some of them, so I will be updating this wiki with those images, soon. I hope. Except for the youngest, Loyd Lewis, all the rest were females.
The parents of Lular Viola King were Albert Maron King and Loucinda Harper. Loucinda's parents were David Harper and Martha Dupree, I believe. Loucinda was born in Athens, Clarke, Georgia in 1844. She was I believe, a colorful personality; she had several husbands.
