Father's Caldwell family is from Gulf Coast, Mississippi. They arrived in Mississippi in the early 1830s'. Mother's Caldwell family is from South Carolina. They arrived in Fairfield and Chester Counties 1788.
In South Carolina I also research the Jackson and Gladden families.
My grandmother on fathers side is from Bangor, Maine. The family in New England goes back to 1620.
