Patrick Curley married Ellen Lohan at the Glinsk, Co. Galway, RC Church on 15 May 1851.

On 21 January 1880, Patrick Curley, age 40, a gardener born in Canvarra, Co. Galway, living in Ballybrack, Dublin, was sentenced to 14 days in jail at hard labor for being drunk and disorderly on January 7.
