Whoa, Mr. Savage. You already used the death of widow Mary Maxfield in 1707 for Samuel's mother, the widow of Clement. And that was correct, this is not. Samuel m. (2) 1691 Christian Potter, so clearly his wife Mary died before 1691, when this second marriage occurred. His widow was named Christian, not Mary, and m. (2) John Hathaway after Samuel's death, and survived him as well, so was living in 1730. So none of Samuel's wives died in 1707. --Jrich 22:50, 24 August 2023 (UTC)
