Defect 1 [5 December 2013]

Seems more likely that the Widow, who marries Samuel Walker, would have originally been the wife of the second Andrew Alger, rather than the first--jrm03063 04:13, 12 November 2013 (UTC)

Unless of course it meant a different Samuel Walker. --Jrich 05:56, 5 December 2013 (UTC) Or this Samuel Walker. And it appears to mean the widow of Arthur Alger, not Andrew Alger, since according to the cited source Folsom, History of Saco and Biddeford, p. 156, it was Arthur's widow Anne that married Samuel Walker who attested to a deed she executed, and with whom she had two children. More research is needed, for as Anderson says, there is basic agreement on the family but a lack of evidence supporting what is agreed to.
