not pro. bef. 7 July 1748, soon aft. his d. and his wid. d. 20 Mar.
1763 or 4, the uncertain. of fam. geneal. rais. a suspicion that the author
had confus. old and new style so many yrs. aft. d. of "Mr. Old Style."

he d. 7 July 1787.
