Isaac, she requires him to pay her childr. Sarah, John, and Samuel certain
sums. This seems to compel us to think, Esther, Elizabeth Hannah,
the three elder ch. nam. on giv. the inv. of f. were by a former w. The
wid. m. Richard Perry of the same, who was d. in 1658. His s. John
serv. in Philip's war, and d. in the first yr. of it unm. JOHN, Topsfield,
s. of William of the same, by w. Lydia had William, b. 25 Aug. 1663;
Ann, 24 Aug. 1665; John, 14 Jan. 1668; Thomas, 20 Jan. 1670;
Isaac, 6 Feb. 1673; Lydia, 16 Apr. 1675, Rachel, 3 Nov. 1677;
Elizabeth 16 Mar. 1680; Ebenezer, 9 Nov. 1685; beside Margaret, ment. in
his will of 12 Oct. 1700, pro. 11 Nov. foll. in wh. all the ch. are nam.
exc. Isaac, wh. perhaps, was d. JOHN, Reading, s. of Richard, freem.
1691, by w. Abigail, had John, b. 1677; Richard, 1679, d. soon; Richard,
again, 1682; Thomas; Kendall, 1686; James, 1688; Nathaniel,
1691; Abigail, 1694; Samuel, 1696; Benjamin, 1699; and Joseph,
1702. JOHN, Boston, a joiner, perhaps s. of Mordecai, freem. 1690,
had w. Sarah, wh. d. at Charlestown, 13 Sept. 1678, in her 21st yr.
1702. JOHN, Greenwich, R. I. 1687. JONATHAN, a soldier of Moseley's comp.
Dec. 1675, and next yr. under capt. Turner on Conn. riv. in Philip's war,
was, of course from the E. JONATHAN, Stratford, s. of the first Isaac,
d. 1689, leav. wid. who is not nam. and ch. Josiah, aged 7; Mary, 4;
and Jonathan, 2, on ret. the inv. 28 Oct. of that yr. His est. was
good. JOSIAH, Stratford, br. of the preced. m. 13 Dec. 1678, Hannah,
d. of Joseph Hawley, prob. had no ch. d. 1691. MORDECAI, Boston,
mariner, m. 1652, Alice, d. of Richard Hallet, had John, b. 18 Aug.
1653; and Samuel, 9 Dec. 1658, wh. d. young. He d. not long aft. for
29 Apr. 1663, his wid. gave inv. and 3 Feb. foll. provision for the only
ch. John was made in Court, for the reason, says the rec. of the wid.
"being ready to dispose of herself." She soon m. Thomas Clark of
Plymouth. NATHANIEL, Charlestown, d. bef. 21 Aug. 1687, when his
wid. Joanna brot. says the ch. rec. to bapt. her ch. Elizabeth and Hannah.
But perhaps he had liv. in ano. town. One of the name from Hingham
was in Johnson's comp. Dec. 1675, may have outliv. the hard serv. His
wid. who was, I infer, d. of Richard Shute, m. Joseph Buckley of Boston.
Hannah m. 7 Jan. 1702, Jonathan Mountford. NATHANIEL, Malden,
s. of the first James of the same, by w. Sarah had Nathaniel, b.
30 July 1692; Samuel, 12 Oct. 1696; Sarah, 24 Apr. 1699; Josiah,
18 Feb. 1704; Elizabeth 27 Oct. 1706; John, 21 June 1709; Mary, 23
Sept. 1712; and Ann, 12 Sept. 1715; and he d. 10 May 1725. RAN-
DOLPH or RANDAL, Charlestown, had w. Elizabeth d. I think, of Thomas
Pierce, senr. and ch. Sarah, b. 27 Jan. 1643; Elizabeth; Hannah, 4 Apr.
