Windsor, youngest s. of the preced. m. 3 Mar. 1690, Hannah, d. of
Thomas Dewey of Westfield, had Benjamin, b. 31 Jan. 1692; Roger,
June 1706; Sarah, 3 Feb. 1710; and the f. d. 3 Nov. foll. JOHN,
Windsor, an early sett. prob. rem. or d. bef. mid. age, was br. of the
preced. JOSEPH, Windsor, br. of the preced. d. early or rem. perhaps;
but one of the s. of his f. was call. prob. to go home to loft. prop. of
the testator. RICHARD, Weymouth, freem. 1645, by w. Sarah had
Tryal, Joseph, and Dorcas, beside Benjamin, b. 22 May 1660. In this
yr. he purch. ld. at Malden, and rem. thither, made his imperfect will
20 Mar. 1685, and his inv. has date of 7 Apr. foll. Benjamin was prob.
d. long bef. his f. as also was d. Martha, wh. d. May 1676. Of the
three nam. in the will, Joseph was d. bef. 1702, when the wid. Sarah
was liv. and Tryal, and Dorcas, wh. m. I think, Joseph Burrill, and she
had been adminx. hav. by will of the f. most of his prop. but charg. to
take care of her mo. THOMAS, Dorchester, may have come in the
Mary and John 1630, freem. 3 Sept. 1634, rep. 1635, was engag. to go
with Warham and most of his cong. to plant Windsor, but d. bef. the
migrat. by his will of 1 Dec. 1635, of wh. abstr. is in Geneal. Reg. VII.
29, leav. large prop. of wh. L.200 to w. Jane, beside what she brot. at
m. and residue equally to childr. exc. that the three youngest ds. should
ea. have L.50 less than the others. Instead of L.50, as I had read some
yrs. bef. Mr. Trask, who usually is a careful copier of the old writings,
gives 50s. in that abstr. wh. might, in case of some petty estate, seem
large enough. This may have affected his eyesight, as the fact of great
prop. on my reexamination, wh. led to conforming my first transcript,
possib. may have influenced me to judge, that so rich a man would not
make so poor a differ. betw. his ds. The inv. tak. 28 Jan. foll. (includ.
ld. in Eng. at £300) was of L.1520, 4, 7. Sarah m. 8 Nov. 1640, Henry
Wolcott; Mary m. 13 June 1644, Daniel Clarke; Rebecca was sec. w.
of Rev. John Russell of Hadley; and Hannah m. Rev. Thomas Hanford,
and d. early. THOMAS, Windsor, perhaps s. of the preced. d. 12
June 1644. THOMAS, Dover 1671. THOMAS, Windsor, s. of Benjamin,
m. 12 Mar. 1667 (but Stiles says, 12 May 1676) Ann Ford, perhaps
d. of Thomas, had Thomas, b. 20 Jan. 1678; Hannah, 10 Feb.
1680; Thomas, again, 22 Mar. 1683; Joseph, 24 Oct. 1684; and Benjamin,
18 Feb. 1687; and d. 20 (30, acc. Stiles) Apr. 1688. TRYAL,
Malden, s. prob. eldest, of Richard, was a soldier in Turner's comp.
