Cambridge 1636, freem. 18 Apr. 1637, ar. co. 1638, br. of the
preced. was liv. some yrs. later; had gr. 1648, of ld. in C. and in short
time aft. went home, and sent power of Atty. in 1653 to his br. Corlet
from Newcastle on Tyne. Elizabeth I think his mo. wh. d. 10 Jan. 1664, in
her will of 16 Feb. preced. calls hers. a. 87 yrs. says she has liv. now a.
20 yr. with Mr. Elijah Corlet, wh. m. her d. Barbara, and gives them
all her little prop. mak. the d. extrix. WILLIAM, Cambridge, s. of Richard,
had, by w. Rebecca Rolfe, Elizabeth b. 5 Mar. 1681; Richard, 13 Nov.
1682; Mary, wh. d. 6 Apr. 1685, 2 mos. old; Hannah, 20 May 1688;
John, 15 Oct. 1690; Rebecca, 18 Jan. 1693; William, a. 1697; Samuel
14 June 1700; Sarah, bapt. 18 Oct. 1702; and Ammi Ruhamah, 6
May 1705, H. C. 1725, min. of North Yarmouth; and d. 1 Apr 1723.
Four of this name had been gr. at Harv. in 1834, and six at other
N. E. coll.
CUTTING, JAMES, Watertown, S. of Richard, m. 16 June 1679, Hannah,
perhaps d. of John Collar, had James, b. 20 Mar. 1680; Richard,
10 Dec. 1683; Thomas, 10 Nov. 1685; Jonathan, and David, tw. 12
Jan. 1688; and Hezekiah, 17 Feb. 1689. JOHN Watertown 1636, aft.
at Charlestown, thence rem. was a. 1642 at Newbury; had Sarah, m.
James Brown; and Mary, m. 9 Nov. 1657, Samuel Moody. He made
many voyages, and brot. very many passeng. from Eng. and d. 20 Nov.
1650. His wid. Mary m. John Miller, and d. 6 Mar. 1664. JOHN, Boston
1655. JOHN, Watertown, s. of Richard, m. 9 Feb. 1672, Susan, eldest
ch. of Robert Harrington, had Susanna, b. 4 June 1673; Sarah, 1675;
Mary, d. 29 Nov. 1677; Elizabeth b. 10 May 1678; John, 10 Mar. 1680;
Robert, 15 Oct. 1683; and George, 26 Apr. 1686. He d. 1689, as also
did, prob. all the ch. exc. John, bef. his f. wh. nam. this gr.ch. in his will.
His wid. m. 21 Apr. 160, Eleazer Beers; and next, 2 Jan. 1705, Peter;
Cloyse. RICHARD, Watertown, came in the Elizabeth from Ipswich,
1634, a youth of 11 yrs. under care of Henry Kimball; by w. Sarah
wh. d. 4 Nov. 1685, aged 60, had James, b. 26 Jan. 1648[1]; John, bef.
ment.; Susanna; Sarah, 2 Sept. 1661; and Lydia, 1 Sept. 1666, beside
Zechariah, wh. may have been the eldest. He made his will 24 June
1694, in wh. he ment. the four ch. alive, and ch. of John, nam. John, and
ch. of Sarah nam. Elizabeth Susanna m. 2 June 1672, Peter Newcomb of
Braintree; Sarah m. 5 Mar. 1683, John Barnard, jr. and d. 6 May
