WILLIAM, Maine 1665. Eleven of this name, a few includ.
without final e, had been gr. at Harv. in 1834, nineteen at Yale, and
twenty-two at other N. E. coll. among wh. were twelve clerg.

    COOKERY, HENRY (an odd name), m. at Charlestown, 22 Oct. 1657,
Hannah Long, d. of the first Robert. He had sec. w. Mary, d. of
Gamaliel Beaman.

    COOLEDGE or COOLIDGE, JOHN, Watertown, may be youngest s.
of William, gent. of Cottenham, Co. Cambridge, bapt. 16 Sept. 1604, so
of good lineage; freem. 20 May 1636, selectman 1639, and oft. aft. rep.
1658, d. 7 May 1691, left wid. Mary, by her had John; Nathaniel;
Simon; all, perhaps, b. in Eng.; Mary, b. 14 Oct. 1637; Stephen, 28
Oct. 1639; Obadiah, 15 Apr. 1642; and Jonathan, 10 Mar. 1647. In
his will, made 19 Nov. 1681, pro. 16 June 1691, he names all the ch.
but O. wh. d. 1663, unm.; and Mary, wh. m. 19 Sept. 1655, Isaac
Mixer
, and d. 2 Nov. 1660, but her ch. Sarah and Mary are ment.

Daniel Livermore. JOHN, Sherborn, s. of the preced. was a soldier,
perhaps the youngest, in Philip's war, by w. Mary had Isaac, b. 21 Apr.
1685; Daniel, 6 Jan. 1687, d. at 20 yrs.; John, 31 Aug. 1689, d. at 22
yrs.; Hannah, 8 Jan. 1692; Sarah, 13 Oct. 1694; James, 17 Oct. 1696;
perhaps Peter; Mary, 13 May 1701; and Amos, 16 May 1705. His
wid. in her will of 5 Sept. pro. 12 Oct. 1724, names four s. three ds.
