Elizabeth Dorcas 1635 with Henry Sewall, and may have been s. of Edward,
wh. prob. d. on the passage; at least, in the Col. Rec. I. 123, provis. for
a wid. B. is made, and lb. 152, he with Jonathan and Nathaniel B.is
order. to pay unto S. several sums for money disburs. by him in the
transport. of Edward and his fam. A wid. B. at H. 18 May 1648. But
I am confus. betw. the two Benjamin, the younger of wh. m. 7 Dec.
1670, Elizabeth d. of Secr. Morton. BENJAMIN, Hull, prob. s. of the
preced. m. 27 Nov. 1666, Hannah, d. of Secr. Morton, had Hannah,
b. 9 Aug. 1668; Hannah, again, 21 Dec. 1669; for 2d w. m. 16 Nov. 1671,
Beatrice, wid. of Abraham Josselyn, after some yrs. rem. to Marlborough
and Stow, freem. 1680, and some yrs. later to Boston under the filial
care of her d. Rebecca Stevens; d. Nov. 1700, and his wid d. Jan.
1712, aged 88. She is one of the persons wh. was said to have been k.
by the Ind. at the assault on Lancaster, 1676. HANANIEL, Ipswich
1648, rem. I suppose, to Haverhill, where is found, in 1674, Hannah,
prob. his w. or d. JOHN, of Hull perhaps was the freem. 14 May 1634.
One JOHN, of Hull, was a soldier, in Dec. 1675, of Johnson's comp.
JONATHAN, Cambridge 1634, perhaps br. of Benjamin the first, rem.
soon to Hingham, Elizabeth bur. 18 Nov.1638; Rebecca, bapt. Feb.1642;
Bethia, Jan. 1644; Benjamin, and Mehitable, 4 Apr. 1647; Mary, 18 Apr.
1647; Nathaniel, and Jeremiah, 29 July 1649; Hannah, 14 July 1650;
Deliverance, b. 4 Aug. 1650; Joseph, b apt. June, 1652; Bellamy,
19 Nov. 1654; Edward, 29 May 1659; and Bridget, 19 Aug. 1660;
thence, 1669, to Swanzey, tho. Lincoln says Rehoboth, wh. was
prob. a prior stage in 1661. JONATHAN, Swanzey, had Hannah,
b. 5 Nov. 1673. JOSEPH, Hull, freem. 1680, perhaps youngest br.
of first Benjamin, rem. to Rehoboth, there had Joseph, b. 27 Sept. 1679;
and Elizabeth 17 Nov. 1681. NATHANIEL, Hull 1661, freem. 1680, prob.
br. of the sec. Benjamin, m. 7 Dec. 1670, Elizabeth d. of Secr. Nathaniel
Morton of Plymouth, wh. d. 6 Apr. 1673, and was bur. 8, says the
rec. two hours bef. Gov. Prince. But in the Life of late John Howland,
she is call. his d. had Nathaniel, b. 22 Mar. 1673; Elizabeth 24 Nov. 1676;
John, 7 June 1678; Samuel, 16 Feb. 1680; Mary, 2 June 1682;
Ephraim, 24 Sept. 1684; Lemuel, 15 Oct. 1686; Joseph, 10 July 1689;
Bridget, 2 June 1691; and Jeremiah, 21 June 1693; but of these,
certain. the last nine were by sec. w. Mary. He is call. junr. So that
ano. Nathaniel was, prob. there, wh. may have been his f. or cous. The f.
had Mary, bapt. 4 Oct. 1657, and his eldest four ch. all d. within 3 wks. Aug.
1693. The s. was Bristol 1689, a deac. with ch. and gr. ch. SAMUEL, Boston,
s. of Zaccheus, or Zechariah, as the ch. rec. at the first bapt. names
him, by w. Mercy, d. of Thomas Bumstead, had Samuel, Zaccheus,
Joseph, and Jeremiah. ZACCHEUS, in some rec. ZECHARIAH, Boston
1630, prob. came in the fleet with Winthrop freem. 25 May 1636, was
of importance cno. to be disarm. Nov. 1637, ar. co. 1650, d. 28 July
1655. His will, made five days bef. was pro. 5 Oct. foll. See Geneal.
Reg. V. 443. By his w. Ann, wh. after his d. m. 17 Oct. 1656, Thomas
Cooper of Rehoboth, he had d. Restored, bapt. 26 Aug. 1638; Elizabeth 26
July 1640; and Samuel, b. 4, bapt. 12 Mar. 1643; beside Sarah, wh.
d. July 1645, hav. been bapt. 27 of the same, at 3 days old; Elizabeth m.
John Morse.
