Sale of Movables by J. Rollins to Jas. Ring,

On this twelfth day of November eighteen hundred & sixty-nine in the forenoon,
- Before Me T. Amyrauld notary public for the province of Quebec residing in the district of Bedford,
Personally came and appeared Joel Rollins farmer of the parish of St. Paul of Abbotsford in the district of St. Hyacinthe who did & doth hereby sell, transfer & make over unto James Ring farmer of the township of East Farnham in the district of Bedford hereto present & accepting for himself, his heirs & assigns the following animals, goods, & chattels, to wit;
- Twenty five bushels of corn, one set double harnesses, forty bushels potatoes, seven bushels buckwheat, one hog, one sheep, six hens & a rooster, one single sleigh, twelve chairs, two tables, three bedsteads and bedding, one stove and pipes, one cupboard and dishes, two trunks and contents and four tons of hay, which the said purchaser acknowledges to have truly him received from the said vendor who delivered the same to him & with the whole he is content & satisfied.
The present sale is so made in manner aforesaid for & in consideration of the price & sum of sixty dollars currency which the said vendor acknowledges to have hereby had & received from said purchaser at the passing hereof whereof full acquittal & discharge is hereby given & granted.
- Thus done & passed at Granby in the said district of Bedford in the office of said Me T. Amyrauld on the day, month & year first above mentioned, under number eight hundred and eighty-three and signed by said parties and notary after these presents were duly read.
