Template:Fgravemem

This template is used to create a link to a memorial page at Find A Grave.

Usage

This template can be placed anywhere on a page, but the most common usage is:

• in a source citation where the source title = Find A Grave
• in the description field of a Burial event (e.g., if wishing to point readers to a photo of the grave marker)

It can also be used in a Reference Number fact, in which case only the first parameter is entered (see below).

Usage in a source citation or Burial event

Enter the following in a source citation (where the title = Find A Grave) or the description field of the Burial event:

{{Fgravemem|ID|text}}

where:

ID = the unique identifier labeled MEMORIAL ID in the header of the Find a Grave memorial page

text = the text you wish to display in the link on the WeRelate page

WeRelate will display the text you included, serving as a link to the Find A Grave memorial page.

The following examples all create links to the Find A Grave memorial page for memorial id 61477260.

   will appear as

   Dirk V Count Of Holland

   will appear as

   will appear as

Usage in a Reference Number fact

Add an event/fact and select type Reference Number. Enter the following in the description field:

{{Fgravemem|ID}}

where:

ID = the unique identifier labeled MEMORIAL ID in the header of the Find A Grave memorial page

WeRelate will display the memorial id, serving as a link to the Find A Grave memorial page, followed by "(Find A Grave)" - this lets the reader know which site the reference number is for.

Example

will appear as

61477260 (Find A Grave)
